March 14 - Morning Practice

11:07 am ET - With the No. 45 back in the paddock for repairs, the No. 44 continues through the end of practice. Seth was in the car for most of the session, handing it over to Lonnie at the end for a final few laps. So far in the session, the No. 45 has the fifth fastest time, behind four of the Ferraris (61, 62, 31 and 32). Five minutes left in the session.

10:37 am ET - The No. 45 appears to have a problem on track. We may have a broken axle. Joerg is attempting to bring the car into the pits. They'll take the car back to the paddock for repairs.

10:30 am ET - Good morning from Sebring. The Lizards are heading out for morning practice. Joerg is in the No. 45 and Seth is in the No. 44. The team learned this morning that our Porsches exhaust note registers at 104 decibels, and the diesel Audis register at only 95 db. By comparison, a rock concert is rated at 120db, and Wikipedia tells us that the perceived loudness doubles with every 10db increase, so that explains why the Audis seem so much quieter than our Porsches.

We have two sessions today. This morning until 11:15 am, and this afternoon from 2:15-3:10.
