9:40 pm ET - Race Update

9:40 pm -Joerg is a man on a mission - he has the Ferrari in his sights and wants this win. This last lap, Joerg was nearly 3 seconds faster than the Ferrari. Joerg has hit some traffic now and needs to navigate it quickly so he doesn't lose any time.

9:32 pm - The No. 62 Risi car appears to have been assessed a 20 second penalty and he stayed on his tires. The No. 45 is still in P 2, but now only 13 seconds behind the No. 62. No. 44 pits for tires and fuel, but Lonnie will stay in the car.

9:30 pm ET - Marc radios in that he needs to come in - the tires are done and Marc needs to get out. The No. 45 will do a driver change to Joerg and the crew will take advantage of the stop for fresh tires and fuel. Barring any problems, this will be the final stop for the No. 45. The No. 44 will also come in one more time for tires and fuel. The crew warns Marc of oil in pit lane from one of the panoz cars and tells him to do a "late entry" which means a sharp turn into his pit stall. Marc is out of the car and Joerg in a lightning fast pit stop.

The No. 62 pits just after the No. 45 - we'll see how their stop goes.
